Economy Classic and Delight tickets include one checked-in bag up to 90 x 75 x 43cm, 23 kg in weight, and one hand baggage weighing 10 kg per person. Economy light tickets do not come with a free checked-in bag, but you can buy extra bags when you check-in if you need them.
If you have booked our Premium Cabin seats, you can take up to two pieces of luggage. Each bag can be up to 90 x 75 x 43cm in size, weighing up to 23 kg, and one hand baggage of up to 10 kg in weight.
All Upper-Class passengers can take up to two pieces of hand baggage per person, weighing up to 16kg combined, and two checked bags with dimensions of up to 90 x 75 x 43cm and 32 kg. The baggage allowance for lap infants is one bag of 23kg in any cabin apart from Economic Light, where no baggage is included. Babies and toddlers aged between 0 and 23 months are entitled to one bag, weighing up to 6kg each. Children aged more than two years are entitled to the same amount of hand baggage as an adult.

Refunds depend upon the ticket you've booked. Some Tickets are sold at discounted prices and may be wholly or partly non-refundable if you cancel your booking. If your ticket is refundable, you can, of course, ask for a refund of the fare, any carrier-imposed charges, surcharges, taxes, fees, and charges you have paid. If you have bought a non-refundable ticket, it would be better to take out travel insurance if you need to cancel.

If you cancel your Virgin Atlantic flight within 24 hours from the scheduled departure time of your flight, then a fee of approximately $100 to $400 will be charged as a Virgin Atlantic cancellation fee.
